Mindjet this month announced an updated release to MindManager for Windows, with a number of new features and improvements included in direct response to customer usability research carried out in early 2014.
Perhaps the most visible update is in the new menu/ribbon that aims to make it easier for users to find frequently used commands, based on what the research showed to be the most popular functions within the software.
As part of a continued effort to assist and enable new users to get started with the software, a new interactive tutorial has been added for first-time users. The tutorial walks users through the most fundamental functions of the software, including the creation of topics and subtopics, editing and moving of information, and personalisation using images, links, notes, and boundaries.
